Maintenance Tips

Daily use requires good maintenance. Briefly rinse your water bottle with clean water after use. This helps prevent bacteria and unpleasant odours.

For normal use, thoroughly clean your bottle a few times a week. Use warm water and mild soap for this. Always let the bottle dry thoroughly with the cap off.

Small maintenance tasks ensure a longer lifespan for your product. This way, your drinking water stays safe and fresh.

Cleaning the bottle

Proper cleaning keeps your bottle fresh and hygienic to use. Clean your bottle with warm water and a soft brush to reach all corners. Also clean the cap, straw, and any rubber parts separately.

For deep cleaning, you can occasionally use a mixture of water and/or baking soda. This helps to remove odors and residue. Afterward, rinse everything thoroughly with clean water. Let all parts dry completely before using the bottle again.

Our filter bottles are also dishwasher safe.

Filter maintenance

The filter is essential for the proper functioning of your water bottle. Replace the filter on time according to the recommended lifespan. This is usually between 1 and 2 months, depending on usage.

A new filter ensures the best water quality and taste. Always rinse the filter thoroughly before use. Do not let the filter dry out during periods of use.

If you are not using the bottle for a long time, remove the filter and let it dry. Afterward, wrap it in foil and store it in a cool place. Proper filter maintenance ensures reliable filtration.

Usage tips

  • Rinse the filter for at least 30 seconds before first use for optimal performance
  • Clean your bottle regularly to maintain quality
  • Replace the filter on time for the best taste and performance
  • Remove the filter before filling the bottle with tea, coffee, juices, or other sugary drinks
Problem-Solution

If you notice the water flowing slower, this is usually a sign that the filter is actively working. Filter bottles naturally have a slower flow rate than regular bottles.

If the flow rate suddenly becomes much slower than normal, check the filter. It may help to briefly rinse the filter with clean water. Also check that all parts are correctly installed.

If you experience an unusual taste or smell, it may be time to replace the filter. When in doubt, you can replace the filter for optimal performance.

Storage

Proper storage will keep your bottle in good condition for longer. Always store your water bottle clean and dry. Leave the cap loose or half-open when storing it. Place the bottle in a cool, dark place.
